Ferns

Ferns are a class of vascular plants that reproduce through spores and have no seeds or flowers. They have roots, stems, and leaves that resemble seed plants, but they reproduce differently. Ferns are sensitive to temperature, humidity, soil type, moisture, pH, and light levels. They can thrive in many habitats that flowering plants can't, such as tree limbs and rock crevices. Ferns are important bio-indicators of habitat health.
